In collaboration with partners and fuelled by the passion of Equinix employees, the Equinix Foundation aims to unlock the value of all that Equinix has to offer, including applying the company’s knowledge, skills and resources to advance digital inclusion in communities around the world.
The Foundation harnesses the passion of Equinix employees locally and globally by engaging them in every area of the organisation's mission and strategy.
We also strive to deepen engagement within the communities where Equinix operates through grant funding, employee volunteering and other community outreach activities.
The Equinix Purpose is to enable the innovations that enrich our work, life and planet. That purpose extends to the work of the Foundation to ensure equitable and inclusive access to all the digital world has to offer, from connectivity and STEAM education to digital literacy training and technical career development.
When unexpected situations require urgent response, we quickly assess the situation and provide direct funding, accelerated employee donation matching and volunteer assistance as needed.

We primarily support organisations working to advance digital equity in the following areas:
